Water is a key element of many recreation activities, including water sports, fishing, boating, swimming and camping. All of these activities require healthy rivers and dams so water is safe for human contact and populations of aquatic animals remain at sustainable levels.
UNDERGROUND CONCRETE TANKS

Below Ground (shotcrete) concrete tanks (25,000Lt+)
Water Harvesting Systems specialize in the installation of underground concrete (shotcrete) water tanks and associated system equipment.

Shotcrete tanks are specifically designed to maximise the available storage in consideration to irrigation and/or household water usage requirements, tank size commences at 25,000Lt. We provide a total solution from survey to commissioning, including engineering, installation and initial water supply.

Water Harvesting Systems tanks are of the highest quality providing a long term solution with no visual impact on your property other than benefits on display via lush vegetation and a healthy landscape.

In order to install an underground shotcrete water tank the following considerations apply:-

·  Potential underground tank location

·  Suitable excavation access

·  Water Harvesting capabilities

·  Council approval

Below Ground prefabricated concrete tanks (up too 20,000Lt)
For underground applications for 20,000Lt or below Water Harvesting Systems can supply and install prefabricated concrete tanks (round and rectangular), the prefabricated solution typically suits smaller excavation areas. Prefabricated systems can be tailored to meet your needs similar to the underground shotcrete application.
Although it is difficult to determine, the frequency, size and persistence of harmful algal blooms in inland waters seems to have increased over the past 50 years. Algal blooms in dams cost farmers more than $30 million per year, and in rivers, storage and irrigation channels about $15 million per year.
